What’s wrong with the Christian Church? Is anything wrong? How can you tell?

The Christian Church has undergone a subtle metamorphosis and it isn’t good. Jesus Christ identified his followers as the “salt and light of the earth” in a description of their destined impact on the world’s increasing darkness (Matthew 5:13, NKJV.) Yet now, the lifestyles, belief systems and priorities of those who claim “Christian” are mostly compromised by the desire to fit-in, agree and tolerate. The Christian Church often looks exactly like the world we’re claiming to lead from darkness to light.

Kryptonite promises Christ-followers a tablespoon of conviction and a pathway to realignment. (Scoffers and mockers will enjoy the confession.)

Kryptonite is deeply insightful, relatable and refreshingly honest. It names the compromises we’ve convinced ourselves are okay and the truths we’ve softened. Adrienne’s personal stories don’t just illustrate a powerful message—they embody it. Her vulnerability gives the reader an opportunity to reflect, repent, and realign their life. It’s the kind of truth that unsettles you, in the best way, especially if you’re preparing to guide others in the Christian faith. Kryptonite reminds us that holiness isn’t just for Sundays… rather, it’s what shapes who we are when no one’s watching.
